Candelis has expanded the capabilities of its ImageGrid™ PACS Appliance with the addition of a cost effective, feature-rich and fully integrated ImageGrid™ RIS (IG RIS). IG-RIS is designed to streamline and improve the workflow of a radiology environment. As a web-enabled application residing on the ImageGrid PACS appliance, the RIS module allows radiologists, technologist and staff to better manage and access patient data and information from a single platform. ImageGrid RIS can be accessed from any workstation on a Local Area Network, Wide Area Network or remote workstations via a Virtual Private Network connection.
