Designed for single imaging centers that perform up to 10,000 studies annually. eFilm RIS/PACS is designed to be a cost-effective way for small imaging centers – in addition to specialty imagers, such as orthopedic clinics, to acquire basic RIS/PACS functionality. For visualization, eFilm RIS/PACS will use eFilm Workstation, the world’s most widely used desktop imaging software. Low volume centers already using eFilm Workstation will be able to leverage their earlier investment by simply upgrading to eFilm RIS/PACS.

    The Scheduling tab allows front desk personnel to properly schedule and document upcoming patient visits with insurance information, CPT, ICD-9 Codes and other pertinent information.  This tab also allows for proper check-in and verification procedures to ensure efficient operation of the business.  Technologists are able to view this check-in process through the system to ensure shorter waiting times and higher utilization of scanning resources.



    The Workflow tools for Radiolists allows radiologists to view all studies, their status and be able to route them accordingly.  Radiologists will also be able to access many of these key features in their eFilm Workstation client to there is minimal distraction.



    The eFilm web viewer is included in this solution to provide users and referring physicians the ability to quickly review studies including annotations, scrapbook images and other key information through a secure login.  The radiologist will still use eFilm Workstation client software for the actual reading of studies as it is a robust and easy to use viewer that is integrated into the workflow, however, the web viewer is a quick and easy access to quickly review of studies from anywhere.
