DR

DR digital radiography systems are used in a wide variety of medical offices, and for good reason. DR stands for direct digital radiography. DR is the fastest digital imaging available at this time, and that speed can be used to improve your office productivity. DR digital imaging can also be used away from your home office, a distinct advantage for veterinary digital radiography which requires the physician to take images out in the field.

DR systems use a collection plate rather than film or cassettes for collecting the image data for digital radiography. This saves in operating costs over the life of the equipment. DR also uses less radiation to capture those digital images, another benefit that comes with the switch to digital.
