In order to stay competitive and offer the best patient care possible, more and more Chiropractic centers are going digital with their digital X-Ray equipment. Going with digital imaging with a fully-equipped rad room that includes digital radiography (DR) and a computed radiography system at your Chiropractic clinic does not have to be expensive. With new advanced technology and new low prices, we can easily and affordably transform your existing Chiro office into a up to date digital office, complete with a Picture Archive and Communication System (PACS) and computed radiography.

The advantages to a PACS goes beyond cost savings – although digital imaging such as digital x-ray and DR saves a great deal on space (no more need for large rooms containing bulky, hard-to-locate file folders and expensive and toxic developer chemicals in inconvenient darkrooms), they save time as well. When the Ohio State University started using filmless medical imaging technology in the early 1990s, their pathology department was able to cut down the time required for diagnosis and patient case write-up to an average of three hours.

Another advantage to digital x-ray and DR is the file format. Unlike other image file formats, DICOM (.dcm) includes more than a picture; it includes patient information such as medical history, prescriptions and most important of all, billing information. This insures that such information can never be separated from the associated images.

Furthermore, chiropractors can benefit from real-time consultation over the World Wide Web when called for; DICOM (Digitial Imaging and Communication in Medicine) files can be transferred to colleagues virtually anywhere in the country.

We offer both CR and DR options, and can provide you with a customized package that would fit your needs. Thanks largely to the fact that today's PACS and other digital medical imaging systems  are based on inexpensive PC technology, cutting-edge capabilities are more affordable than every before. The largest part of an investment in digital imaging technology is the monitor, which must be of a very high resolution; nonetheless, a complete PACS can be installed in your clinic or private practice at a price starting around $5000.

Whether your need is for basic X-Ray equipment to open a new office, you are expanding your current office or you need to replace older equipment in your clinic ... and especially if you need the latest in Digital Imaging technology, we can deliver what you need at competitive prices!!
