What is PACStoGo?

PACStoGo is a DICOM network device that can receive, query, or send DICOM modality studies. Upon receiving a study, from a multitude of sources (other DICOM CDs, Magneto Optical Discs, Modalities, PACS), the PACStoGo creates a standard DICOM 3.0 Part 10 CD or DVD. Our PACStoGo solutions conform to the IHE Portable Data for Imaging (PDI) profile requirements which provide interoberability amongst facilities.

PACStoGo is intended as a means for delivering medical images to patients and physicains in exchange for the traditional hardcopy exam films. The solution can also help to transfer medical images from non-connected PACS devices or DICOM workstations.

PACStoGo acts as a virtual printer on your DICOM network, which receives requests from UNLIMTED devices on your network and will create a CD with custom labels and printed patient information.

Why do I need a PACStoGo?

The PACStoGo is much more than just a CD burner. The heart of the PACStoGo is the dynamics of the software. With the PACStoGo a client has the ability to create universal exchange CDs in PART 10 format. The PACStoGO should be viewed as a workhorse for creating exchange and archive CDs that are truly universal. Our solution conforms to the IHE Portable Data for Imaging (PDI) profile requirements which provides interoperability amongst facilities. The abilities and features of the PACStoGo will reduce film costs, build referral base, and increase workflow.

PACStoGo for Epson CD Burner/Printer

PACStoGo was developed to work with or without a Epson CD Burner/printer. A job can be sent from any DICOM device on your network and it will automatically create a CD with a custom label. This is a great solution for centers that have a high volume of clients and need an automated system.


Web Interface


PACStoGo Pro and Enterprise versions have a web interface which will allow you to create CDs from any location within your center by simply logging onto the internet. This interface will allow you to perform all the necessary functions to create and burn a CD without physically being at your CD burner workstation. This is an optimal feature for physicians on the go and busy technicians who need to optimize their time and increase productivity.
