At RSNA 2007 (Nov. 25-30), Merge debuted eFilm RIS/PACS*, as a Works in Progress imaging informatics solution designed for single imaging centers that perform up to 10,000 studies annually. eFilm RIS/PACS is designed to be a cost-effective way for small imaging centers and specialty clinics to acquire basic RIS/PACS functionality. For visualization, eFilm RIS/PACS will use eFilm Workstation, the world’s most widely used desktop imaging software. Low volume centers already using eFilm Workstation will be able to leverage their earlier investment by simply upgrading to eFilm RIS/PACS.
