RemotePACS is an ASP based DICOM storage system allowing hospitals, clinics and imaging centers to be able to store, view, and distribute their medical images over the web. RemotePACS offers direct immediate access to all patient images anytime, anywhere. RemotePACS is designed to receive images directly from any DICOM modality and provide immediate access to images for interpretation and review. The internal archive router enables centers to route their images across a secure VPN connection. The router acts as a secure store and forward device which connects directly to the main RemotePACS data center. RemotePACS is an option for facilities that need the advantages of a web-based PACS at a reduced cost.
RemotePACS comes with a thin-client application which makes it easy to read from any Web-enabled PC. Along with PACS data, you’ll enjoy easy access to patients’ prior images, reports and notes. Advanced streaming speeds information securely and losslessly over any bandwidth. RemotePACS OnCall automates delivery to any viewstation anywhere with an internet connection. Equivalent to a mini-PACS viewstation wherever you may be, the pacs intelligently and securely delivers images to your PC before you are ready to read.
